About the Fair Saturday Foundation

It is time to rethink the way we are creating the future. The current
socio-economic models need to be reviewed in order to respond to the
growing social, environmental and economic challenges.

To this end, we believe that there are several essential elements in the
construction of more just and developed societies: culture and social
empathy. These two pillars dignify people and achieve a humanized
development based on the progress of science, the third and fundamental
    pillar.

Based on these convictions, the Fair Saturday Foundation in Bilbao-Bizkaia
was created in 2015 with the aim of promoting a more just, virtuous and
sensitive world to people’s needs through innovative initiatives of a cultural nature, permanently seeking to establish bridges of encounter between different people, cities and cultures.

“A society with a greater weight of culture is a more developed, more just, more humane society. In short, a better society.”

    Festival

    Fair Saturday Festival

A day devoted to art and culture with social impact

Every last Saturday of November, the day after Black Friday, cultural agents in different parts of the world join in by performing on this day and supporting a social project of their choice.

Fair Saturday is an idea to put culture in the centre, to recognize the value of cultural and social organizations, to feel, to reflect. A day dedicated to art and culture, would you join us?
